Evan was taken back for surgery around 8:30. He had a really good night. We had to wake him up at 2am for a bottle before he went NPO then again at 4am for a little bath.
Ryan and I got to take him back to the OR holding area where we met with the anesthesiologists who explained the risks which are outweighed by the benefits. Evan won’t feel any pain as he will be heavily sedated.
I am praising God in advance as he guides the surgeons hands. I went down to the chapel and then got some tea now Ryan and I are here in the familiar CICU waiting room. We will get updates about every 90 minutes and the doctor will talk with us after surgery is complete.
